Itinerary
Arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V airport. Welcome, assistance and transfer to hotel, Dinner and Night.
Breakfast and start the sightseeing of Casablanca, the business capital of Morocco with visit of the Hassan II great mosque, Promenade at the cornice of Ain Diab; beaches, swimming-pools and cafe-restaurants, then tour near the Royal Palace at the Habous Quarter area of handicraft’s shops. Afternoon departure to Rabat. Visit of the administrative capital of Morocco with the splendid “Mohamed V” Mausoleum and the Gardens of Oudayas and Chellah. Departure to Fez by the Highway Arrival to Fez check-in at hotel Dinner and Night
After Breakfast, walk to Fes El Bali (old city), the extraordinary medieval walled city. Once inside the gates of this great spectacle, you will see an entirely different view of life in Morocco. In contrast to the well-planned Ville Nouvelle, the old city is a labyrinth of alleys and lanes lined with shops, mosques, homes and schools. In 1980 UNESCO designated the medina a World Heritage Site. Guided Tour to the medina to view the market shops, souks. Everything from food to clothing can be purchased. We will see the famous dying works with the brightly colored cloth hanging to dry. A visit to the Royal Palace, several mosques, theological schools, and shops where we can see craftsmen tailoring their work will round out the day's tour. Today's walk is an amazing look into the life of the Moroccan city dweller where little has changed over the centuries. At about 17 H Walk to one of the famous old palaces of the old City; Palais M’nabhi, converted to a restaurantin the beginning of the 20th Century. On the terrace of this palace, the Head cook and assistants are waiting the guests, to prepare the Dinner; Harira (Moroccan Soup) Couscous and dessert, introduction to some Arabic words related to the Moroccan Kitchen, Dinner back to hotel for the night
Breakfast and departure to Marrakech with a stop at the roman ruins; Volubilis and the sacred Islamic town; Moulay Idriss I. Then carry on to Meknes which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail. Visit of Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old medina, then road to Beni Mellal, passing by “Azrou”, Berber village known by its handicraft corporation. Trip ahead the wooded and mountainous region. Arrival to Beni-Mellal city of green spaces and Waterfalls, after a short visit continuation to Marrakech, arrival in the end of afternoon, check-in at Hotel, Night at Hotel.
Breakfast and the whole day will be devoted to Marrakech discovery, this is the second oldest Imperial city known by “the Pearl of the south” with the Saadians tombs, the Koutoubia tower, the Bahia Palace, and the Menara Gardens. Transfer to the daily Market in the Old city of Marrakech; the Medina, visit of the different areas distributed by kind of items and ingredients: vegetables, Chicken, Fish, meat and spices. The participants will get the possibility to buy the necessary ingredients to prepare the Dinner meals, a guide will be at disposal to help and to explain when necessary, after the tour in the Souk, everybody is invited to a Family House to prepare the Dinner with the assistance of a Chief who will give the proceeding to follow of each Dish. Dinner is served at the House. Night at the hotel
Breakfast and transfer by Bus to the ecologic Farm at about 18 Kms from Marrakech, welcome at the farm with a Ceremony of Moroccan tea made of Biologic Mint, guests will get an initiation to the tea preparation. Introduction of the spices used for the Moroccan cooking, visit of the Biologic vegetables garden, then start the Moroccan cooking lessons, on opened Air space. Preparation of 3 kinds of each: starters, Tagines and Desserts. Guided Walk in the village to meet with people of this area, back to the Farm for lunch or Dinner, with the prepared dishes, distribution of Cook Diploma. Back to Hotel.
Breakfast and departure to Essaouira via Chichaoua. Essaouira, called also Mogador by the Portuguese, nice and quite small city located on the Atlantic coast, this magical city; known as the city of Artists and Wind sports. Overnight at the hotel.
reakfast and let’s go for a guided Tour in Essaouira (the Harbour is under Work, but possible to enter and visit), then continue to the Fish Market; here, discover the varieties of Fish and Seafood that the ocean is offering to this small city. Time to shop the necessary ingredients to prepare the Dinner, then walk to a family house where you are waited by the House Chief, she will introduce you to the names of the necessary ingredients to prepare a Fish Tagine, with the assistance to the steps to get a delicious Fish Tagine. Before enjoying the prepared Tagine for Dinner, let’s walk on the beach and explore the narrow streets and souks of the Old City; the Medina. Night at the Hotel
